Android Sensor Data, as of version 2 is open source under GPL v3. As I developed the software mainly as a reference for accessing sensors in android, I felt it was a good idea to share my discoveries. You can find it on Google Code.

This realease brings with it a major GUI upgrade for the program. This sets the stage for data recording and visualization in the future.

From a simple, cruddy little life counter to a fleshed out utilities application with a unique EDH mode, deck manager, and multiplayer support, MTG Utilities has come a long way from its initial release. Thanks to everyone for making this possible and supporting development with great suggestions and ideas.

On the Horizon

Keep an eye on Abscidetur Laboratories to bring you more updates to MTG Utilities, including unlimited multiplayer, a furthur upgraded GUI, as well as another application specifically for Judges.

This upgrade brings changeable backgrounds. Select preferences from the main menu and get to customizing!

Feel free to request backgrounds in future updates.

We just published our newest app: GRE Vocabulary. There is a trial and a retail version ($1.50). This app helps you study for the GRE’s by giving you vocabulary flash cards and quizzes. For more information on the features, check out its page or the trial.

Just a quick note – I’ve finagled with some of the resources and gotten MTG Utilities functioning on Android 1.5. Share, enjoy, tell all your friends, donate!

This update includes new features:

• Exporting Life Histories (Requires SD-card)
• Deck Manager
• Life +/- within 750 ms. are grouped in basic game mode
• Player names (long press to change name)

This update brings a few features back:

• Improved Emperor Mode
• Easier coin flip and 1d20 from the menu

In this minor update, we’ve fixed the bug from 4.5 where statistics were not being properly recorded. As well, included now in the basic game mode is a menu option to set all life. This could be used to set live to 30 for 2hg game modes among other things!

I’m proud to announce the release of MTG Utilities 4.5 (Jhoira). It sports a new interface, game statistics, and the removal of unused clutter.
